About marketbirds
marketbirds is a performance marketing agency focused on helping mid-sized and family-run businesses generate high-quality leads through data-driven online advertising and conversion-optimised landing pages. By combining effective campaigns across platforms like Meta, Google, and LinkedIn with tailored landing pages and funnels, marketbirds enables companies to acquire new customers in a more automated, scalable, and predictable way.
marketbirds acts as a full-service partner, ensuring that ads and websites work seamlessly together; eliminating wasted budget and turning traffic into qualified leads.
"For us, this is 100% an efficiency play. Within a single week, we generated enough ads to test for an entire month, at a fraction of the cost. Instead of paying for freelancers and internal production, we now get better results, faster, and deliver significantly more value to our clients."

Thomas Pietrek, Managing Director at marketbirds GmbH
The challenge
marketbird's typical clients are family businesses or lean SMEs: companies where marketing is handled by one overstretched person, or where the managing director squeezes it in between everything else. These clients can't produce their own assets, can't brief creators, and have no bandwidth for lengthy feedback cycles. For marketbirds, that meant absorbing the full creative burden internally; across an increasingly demanding landscape.
Meta's shift toward a creative-first, high-volume testing model (accelerated by the Andromeda update) made the problem acute. To run properly optimised campaigns, especially for clients with smaller monthly budgets, the agency needed to produce and test more creative variants than their existing process could handle. The old workflow: Concept → Design → Freelancer → Client Approval → Live; was too slow and too expensive to scale.
The team had explored alternatives, but found the output too robotic to use effectively for their audience. And while static image ads remained their top-performing format for lead generation, there was no AI tool that could generate genuinely good, customisable static creatives at scale. That was the gap marketbirds needed to fill.
How they used Superscale
Today, five members of the marketbirds team work inside Superscale across 13 client brands. The focus is on static ad creative, the format that consistently delivers the lowest CPL in lead generation, with AI UGC video also tested and generating leads where relevant. The workflow has been transformed in three key areas:
High-volume static creative production: Instead of building each creative from scratch, the team now generates full batches of approved ad variants in a fraction of the time. A month's worth of ads for a client can be produced in a single week; enabling a frontloading strategy where clients approve a large volume upfront, giving the agency room to test continuously without returning for sign-off every two weeks. Clients with smaller budgets now have access to the same quality of creative testing infrastructure as larger accounts.
Competitive research and market intelligence. The Agent's competitor analysis tools give the team a structured, repeatable view of what competitors are running at scale. Rather than manually browsing Meta's Ad Library, the team can identify ads that have been running long enough with sufficient reach to qualify as likely performers, and use those as direct inputs for their own creative strategy. This is also something clients respond well to: showing up with a competitor breakdown at a review call is a differentiator.

New creative angles and hooks. One of the clearest wins from the Agent has been the expansion of creative angles and hooks. It has helped uncover approaches that complement and build on the team’s existing creative thinking. For example, with a professional matchmaking client, where the product leans more conservative and explanation-driven, the Agent introduced an Out-of-Home mockup format that resonated particularly well with the target demographic. Insights like this have consistently added a fresh perspective across clients, broadening the range of angles in market and strengthening the overall creative mix alongside the team’s own expertise.

Results achieved with Superscale
By bringing creative research, competitor analysis, ideation, and production into one streamlined workflow, the marketbirds team significantly increased creative output while reducing the operational effort required to deliver for clients.
Key results:
540% increase in creative output (6–7x more ads in the same time), based on client-approved creatives (not raw AI output)
4x faster ad creation: a full month of ads generated within one week, creating much more upfront testing capacity for client accounts
Increased output delivered to clients at no additional cost, allowing for better creative testing and alignment with Meta’s evolving (e.g. Andromeda) requirements
Faster approval and launch processes through frontloaded ad production and larger creative batches
Lower reliance on freelancers and internal design resources: helping reduce creative production costs
Fresh competitive insights and benchmarking, making it easier to monitor the market and turn competitor learnings into new ad iterations
Greater value delivery for resource-constrained SMB clients, who often lack the time, assets, or in-house marketing support to produce creatives themselves
A stronger operational foundation to scale client delivery further, with the team feeling better equipped to take on more accounts in the future
